The University of Alaska will host an introduction to the statewide university system for state candidates during a “91������Ƶ 101” session at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.

The session will be held in Room 106 of the Commons building, Sharon Gagnon Lane, 91������ƵA.  Candidates running for public office have been invited to attend. A similar “91������Ƶ 101” session will be held later in August at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

The purpose of the non-partisan sessions is to educate candidates on the university’s mission, programs and budget. The public and media are invited. 91������Ƶ President Mark Hamilton will attend.
